US national parks in UT, AZ, and Nv. Yes, we’ve done a ton of overseas trips but the kids LOVED hiking in UT. Such a great family road trip. If you’re an outdoor family, it’s a must-do

Arizona in March- We did Grand Canyon (cold but beautiful), Sedona, Scottsdale (catcus league baseball) and Tucson (Sabino Canyon). Kids were 12 and 14.

Op here. This sounds interesting. We have done AZ when kids were younger. They loved the Phoenix zoo and kid activities. This would be a totally different experience. Kids have never been to Vegas or the Grand Canyon.

I have been to Vegas, Grand Canyon, Sedona and Scottsdale with adults.

If you want to do Arches, fly into Vegas and do Arches-Bryce-Zion, with maybe the Hoover Dam, Death Valley or North Rim tacked on. Don't do Phoenix + Arches.

Arches is the complete opposite side of Utah from Bryce and Zion. Vegas is far. The better option for Arches is to fly into Grand Junction to drive to Moab. Arches\Zion/Bryce/Grand Canyon is a truly insane itinerary in the time span of spring break.

We did Grand Canyon, Zion and Death Valley. We also thought we would do Arches/Moab. For our timeframe, adding Arches/Moab was too much driving. Still haven’t been there- hopefully can get there eventually.

Zion and Grand Canyon are great. Death Valley was my first time there…all I can say is “wow!” One of the neatest parks I’ve been to.

Love seeing someone mention Death Valley! We did Vegas and Death Valley in March 2020 right before everything shut down. Death Valley blew my mind! There are so many incredible things to see there. One day went from Badwater Basin where it was about 80 degrees up to the Wildrose Charcoal Kilns in the mountains where it was snowing. My family had the best time.
