Spanx faux leather leggings

For those that have them: if you have butt cellulite does it highlight or mask it? Did you size up? I normally wear a medium in legging brands like Athleta; I recall hearing that means I’d be a large in spanx?

I do find the run small so yes, I would size up.

I find that these disguise my cellulite completely but that is true of pretty much any dark leggings unless they are sheer or very, very thin. My cellulite does not have a lot of dimpling and is really only as visible as it is because I'm pretty pale.

The bigger issue, I've found, is that these leggings squash my butt a little bit. Like it's just a little flatter than it is in regular leggings. I generally wear them with a slightly oversized sweater or a long blazer because I don't think they make my butt look it's best. But they do make my legs look great.
