Makes me think of the Sesame street song: One of these things is not like the other. 
That is a very strange grouping. I don't think anyone applying to Brown, Cornell, Northwestern would have Christopher Newport or W&L anywhere on their list, even as safeties. |

Yes on higher ROI and value add. Yes on much higher endowment per student and better student to faculty ratios. Yes on much higher ratings for teaching and ability to get classes. Yes on much higher endowment per student, particularly if only factoring undergraduates. Yes on significantly higher medical school admission rates, etc. No on the Grey Goose. |
