Market- bear market, economy has slow and bumpy recovery

Employment- I think unemployment rates will actually remain fairly low despite the recession although they may go slightly up from where they are today

Real estate- highly dependent on location. Some areas will come back but, in general, a softening of the market and it will be a buyers market for at least the next few years

I don't think we will get to allied vs axis ww2 situation again. But your comment is interesting BC after all, ww2 was good for the us economy after the depressed 1930s. Stock market numbers through the war show it all.

WW 2 was good for US because.it didn't reach out shores.. That won't happen next time. Mainland US will hit..
