Yes, it is stressful to have a choppy schedule with numerous singleton days and long weekends off prohibiting any development of a sense of routine and flow.

You made your point in the calendar thread. Maybe you could spend your energy explaining what would make life easier for your atypical student rather than sniping at parents who are letting their kids do something lots of the kids are doing. Senior skip day is at least optional. What's mandatory that you'd like to do away with, even now, in HS?
