Christmas candles in windows at holiday time

Did anyone find a model they like?

If you put them in their room chances are they’ll play with those for a few days and then get bored with them. Less likely they’ll play with the others in your house if they have one of their own. The novelty will wear off quickly. Tell them they can only play with the one in their room and make sure it’s as unbreakable as possible.

I've been eyeing these ones. But can't find reviews.

+1 And when I was a kid I loved that "special" light, did not disrupt my sleep at all.

Me too! It was just part of the season and I looked forward to it.

We have the plow and hearth ones. They’re very bright, but unidirectional - they shine out the window, but don’t shine into the room. They’re battery operated and shine on a cycle for 6 hours with 18 hours off.
I saw another poster didn’t like them, but we’ve had ours for years, and really like them. (And we added a couple of additional ones a few years ago when we moved, And the new ones still work well.).

I have a question. I always put all my candles in all windows facing the street and ones facing my backyard in a bay window in my dining room but this year I decided to just put one that faces the side facing my neighbors house and not the bay window. It looks funny just having one and the 3 don't. Comments please.

Why revive a 2+ year old post to ask this instead of making a new post?

If you don’t like it how you have it now change it back to how you liked it.

I've always found that only the plug in ones shine bright enough. Are any new battery models better now?
