I like Opal. I had a great-aunt with the name, and think of it as a little, old, lady name, but as OP indicated, those names are cycling around again. I like it infinitely better than Euphemia.
I don’t think most people track birth stones. I barely know my own. I do, however, think that opals are one of the prettier and more interesting stones. I think I’d keep the middle name simple and generic: Opal Anne Opal Marie Opal Jean Opal Louise Opal Beth Opal Sue |
All sound like names from The Dukes of Hazzard. The superstition that Opals are bad luck unless you're born in October. |
Omg, I also have aunts named Opal, Ruby and Pearl, are they/you from Tennessee?? |
| I already said that Opal is ok, but if you want another option, Olympia/Olimpia is one. |
To be clear, this is not a joke post, I'm actually curious is we are related. Opal and Pearl are deceased, but Ruby is still alive. |

I think of Opal Cortlandt from “ All my children”

Canadian. I think there was one named Hazel as well. |
I like Opal.

Not my style, but if you love it, go for it!
Congratulations. |
| I want to suggest a name that has a similar feel but I like much more: Iris |
| Opal Ellen |
