Should I blow my bonus on business class tickets to Europe

I love it when my kids are at the gate getting ready to pre-board and some entitled older couple pushes in front of them and says, “Excuse us dear, we need to get through. We’re actually flying first class.” Then my kids can only roll their eyes, as we’re all sitting in the same first class but we’re also United Global Services and legitimately entitled to pre-board. First class boards with Group 1 on United, not part of pre-boarding, of course.

15K isn't a small bonus. Get real. And I say this as someone who sees ~$45K bonuses come in from my spouse each year, which I am grateful for.

That is absolutely not worth it. Not even close.

Read up on some weird splurge-y sleep devices - https://www.ourglobetrotters.com/help-kids-sleep-on-planes-leg-pillows/ - and/or book an extra night in Europe to catch up on sleep if you consider that a waste (what's that, $600 if you stay in a nice hotel?).
