Yes! Keenan Thompson is doing a good job as host. No one has gotten punched yet.

The stage is really weird. Small. Pixelated. Crowded. Feels weird. Underwhelming.

Who was the actress with the cane that presented the final award?

I watched most of the second half. (Not really sure why I watched any of it, to be honest.)

I found it odd what they choose to spend time on. A live plug, leading to a preview, for an upcoming show on Peacock? They used airtime for that meanwhile cutting off acceptance speeches. Random skits/air time related to some of the presenters? Storm trooper set-up on stage, jimmy kimmel being pulled in on ground and then not moving, etc. it was just strange.

Laura Linney and Ozark group did not look pleased about losing in their categories (aside from Garner’s win).

Agree stage set up was too small - I thought folks from the large groups that went onstage for show wins might fall off!

Sarah Paulsen was in the navy blue box. Shonda Rimes was with her.

Bad set design. I also noticed more women that usual were having a hard time getting up the steps.

Usually the award ceremony threads are longer. Perhaps not many people watched.

I don't know why the In Memoriam segments are always so poorly executed, at least for the viewing audience. We don't need to see John Legend playing the piano. We want to see the images of the deceased, and it would be nice to be able to read their names. Just have some unobtrusive background music playing and put the full images on the screen.

I just want to give props to Sheryl Lee Ralph (Abbott Elementary). So happy that she won because I love her on the show but she also looked amazing. I cannot believe she is 65 years old.

I totally agree. It’s like this every time. Just zoom into the in memoriam screen for the TV audience once it’s been established who’s performing. We don’t need to see them again.

I bet John Legend's contract stipulated that he must appear on screen for x number of minutes.

I didn't watch the show, but I just scrolled through pictures of the fashions.

Best dressed: Zendaya
Worst dressed: Kerry Washington (black hose with white?)

Elizabeth Olsen's dress was designed by her sisters, and I like the drape of the bodice but overall it was underwhelming.

I like the color of Reese Witherspoon's dress.

Zendaya looked gorgeous. Very classic Hollywood glamour.

I also thought Rachel Brosnahan looked amazing:

Gosh, if only there were any other professional musicians in the country who would not have insisted on that. They could have hired one of them!
