I think my past chiropractor was committing insurance fraud.
I went to a chiro for routine visits. I later needed physical therapy. When I found a PT, the insurance said I had used all My sessions for the year. I asked why and was extremely confused because I had never been to PT. The chiro was billing our sessions as both PT and chiro. I asked them how I could proceed with only chiro care as I was unaware they were billing both, I needed PT, and I only wanted adjustment. For the next sessions all they did was not let me rest on some raised blocks at the start of my session. That was what they were billing for full PT services for. That… is not PT. I stopped going soon after. |
I think there's a fine line between fraud and taking advantage of insurance. I thought my dentist was committing fraud by charging crazy amounts for "sanitizing" and a whole list of procedures during my 15 minute routine cleaning. Nope, they just figured out everything insurance was willing to pay and submitted it. |
| I work in title insurance. We see fraud all the time. |
WTF! They would find out if the arson was intentional. |
Like how. I always thought that area is pretty clear. Either there was something with a chain of ownership or not. |
