Nobody remembered my birthday

I stopped wishing people a happy birthday on FB because no one wishes me one. As long as your immediate family remembers, that's all that matters.

Put less effort into fussing about other adults on their birthday. Really, it’s ok.

I don’t expect anyone outside my DH and mom to remember my birthday. I make it what I want.

It took my brother (I have 4) 52 years to remember my birthday. Only this year, he mentioned. Is it your birthday...days later. I always remember all my siblings birthdays because when I was young, i helped filled out my parents paperwork for everything. I even remember a few SSN too. But, I don't get mad at them.
I'm done wishing people anything cause no one remembers mine and it is the day before a big holiday.

OP, you might consider telling your friends it’s your birthday. I make plans and invite my friends because I want to celebrate with them.

at least your husband kids and mom remembered! a few years ago noone remembered--not my mom, spouse, brother or kids. Then the next day I got some sort of happy birthday card from my dentist and my son saw it and asked when my bday was and when I told him it was the day before he actually got upset and made my husband buy a cake (probably upset only because he missed cake). I dont have a FB profile with my bday anymore, so maybe that's why....
