I've never heard of Alison Roman, but Chrissy Tiegan is a vile human being--so team Alison Roman here! |

| I follow comedians on Twitter. It was so sad when Norm McDonald died, he was fun to follow at times. |
Yes. He was my first big celebrity crush as a teen. But, yeah, I’m done. I do enjoy following Johnny weir on Instagram. He is amusing. I mean, I don’t worship him or anything, but his outfits and little videos are such a ray of sunshine I’m mostly using Instagram currently to follow the schools that are on the prelim list for my daughter, the rising junior |
I don't really have feelings for Simone Biles one way or another, but #3 seems like a strange thing to criticize someone over. Falling in love and getting married, especially after a previous disappointment, should be celebrated. |
Was it Donnie? |
She’s 25 and barely has any education. She is too young to get married. He’s going to cheat on her. Any idiot can see it coming. |
| I used to follow celebs in real life. Was fun. |
| Hilaria Baldwin. Then after her bounceback blowback (photoshop fail), then learned she lied about being Spanish. |
Alison Roman likes to take food from other cultures and say she came up with it on her own, all the while putting down women of color from those cultures. She and Chrissy can both be awful, PP. |
| Asia Argento. When she became one of the leaders of MeToo. |
| I muted Janelle Monae’s stories because I only check Instagram occasionally and there were way more than I wanted to watch. I still like her (much more infrequent) posts though. |

I follow a couple of actors--none would be anywhere near a "celeb" actor, they're just old-school "guest-role" TV actors I enjoy--and I follow mostly to find out what projects they might be doing next and where I can see them acting. I know their political opinions and charity activities align with mine so there isn't going to be any "So and so just got political so I'm out!" going on, for me.
I found this thread interesting because I don't quite get why people follow models (OK, Teigen had cookbooks etc. I think?) or people who are only celebrity-adjacent (why should we care about Alec Baldwin's wife other than that she puts hersefl out there on social media a lot?). I think some people follow celebrities just waiting for them to screw up and create a social media clusterf**k. Kind of like waiting for a disaster to happen. Actually I'm not judging that -- I get the appeal of boggling at someone who's a hot mess in public and doubles down on the "in public" part! But I couldn't follow them and have them popping up in feeds all the time. |
Steve Harvey?? I don't think I have a favorite celeb. But i do enjoy following Dolly Parton on twitter

I found out that she wasn't really Spanish!
