How much summer screen time

+1. We're to busy during the week but all enjoy a couple of hours on a weekend afternoon before dinner after being out all day.

chores
do something creative
exercise
do something kind for someone else

Then they can have screens.

Right now I’m single parenting and working while DH is out of the country dealing with a family emergency, so it’s survival mode. I make time to do one activity with them a day (maybe going to the pool, play date with friends, errands, etc) and we have family dinner together - other than that they can play games together on screens. It depends on your situation and the circumstances. My kids don’t get the bad moods with the screens so it hasn’t been a problem and it’s short term.

Same for us, kids are 9 and 11.


Mine get as much as they want but they need to do their work first.
