"Elvis was a hero to most
But he never meant s- to me you see
Straight up racist that sucker was
Simple and plain
Mother f- him and John Wayne
'Cause I'm Black and I'm proud
I'm ready and hyped plus I'm amped
Most of my heroes don't appear on no stamps
Sample a look back you look and find
Nothing but rednecks for 400 years if you check" -Chuck D

+1

I can’t get over how young Priscilla was. I’m tired of glorifying men who took advantage of young girls.

+1 And she wasn't the first. There are stories of him bringing young girls on tour with him. Gross.

The movie failed to mention Priscilla also cheated. I gave it 2 1/2 stars

I thought it was excellent. We were married on Elvis birthday years after he died. It was so well done. We kept seeing a young John Travolta. Austin did a fantastic job.

That's true. But apparently his performance makes up for it.

I loved the Joaquin Phoenix performance of Johnny cash. Did he look like Johnny cash? Perhaps not, but for this viewer it was an emersive experience and I loved it.
