APS gifted services question

Stay far away from the slow students - your child will be bored and learning will be minimal. Gifted is a golden ticket to learn.

For those who responded that their kids really enjoyed gifted and had a great experience, can you describe what things your school did that made it effective? Thus far I'm not clear what will be the difference and want to understand whether the enhanced programs are standardized across APS or varies by school. Thanks.

They play with robots, read interesting books and do innovative activities instead of being stuck in the slow lane.
