The thing that makes the difference has to do with home life and parental education level. Your kid will do the same at any of these schools.p

Yes, the new Prinipal started in the 2020-2021 school year. He is good.

They did with the last principal. The current principal is chasing staff away. He is nice, but not qualified to run a school that is such a socio economic mixing pot like Garrett Park.

OP as another data point you could look at the Maryland School Report card results. Those results have a teacher survey score for each school, under the "School Quality and Success" heading.

Like any MCPS ES they're all about the same. They use the same curriculum, and teachers are hired by the same people even. The bulk average is more a reflection of an area's SES. This is not a strong indicator of how your student will do. That is more a function of parental income and education.
