Nonsense. Nobody on Tatooine seemed dirty or scrappy enough. Ugh. I liked Star Wars Bette when it was all cult geek culture. Now that it’s a mega million dollar Disney franchise it’s all so played out.

This bothered me too but I checked and the young actress is in fact 10 (so was probably 9 when she shot the series). Just very young looking for her age.

She thinks Obi Wan Kenobi is old? McGregor is 15 years younger than Jimmy Smits.

Anyone who led think Jimmie Smits voice was off?

Love Ewan.

Show is dark and it also makes me sad that we ultimately know how it ends - Obi Wan living as hermit on Tatooine, no one barely knowing he is there, denying the existence of the Jedi. There will be no happy ending or even closure.

Also the gaping story hole - the “Help me Obi Wan” tramission where Leia talks to Obi Wan like they don’t know each other. Are they going to erase their memories?

No it actually fixes a New Hope plot hole. The transmission from a New Hope is her asking Ben for help since he has already saved her before. You forgot the whole transmission: Help me Obi-Wan Kenobi, you're my only hope.

She knows him. That is why so goes with Luke when they break her out of the cell, he says he is with Ben Kenobi. Now we get to see how they have known each other her whole life.

Episode 3 is soooooo good.

Finally, the rematch we’ve been waiting for since 2005. I never seen Darth Vader so actually scary and brutal before.

Very true to her personality in the first two films.

Yes, the kid nailed it. That's exactly what you would have expected in a young Leia. Spoiled and bossy, but brave and smart.

I can't believe they dropped that in the third episode! I figured that would be the show's climax!

Same. It seems like Vader was just toying and torturing Kenobi. I’m just glad Vader finally has a role in these shows. Seems like they’ve only used him for a few scenes the last few years. But they’re going all out with him now. Glad to see it, especially since JEJ only has a few years left probably.

Does anyone else think we will hear/see Liam Neeson as Qui Gon in this?

My 10 yr-old thought the actress was 7.

That's what my 9 and 11 year old kids thought too. And me.

I saw the first episode last night and really liked it. Seemed big budget. How many episodes are there supposed to be total?

Really enjoying watching this with 20 yo DS who forced me to watch the damn prequel trilogy so many times when he was little. We used to do the Mustafar lightsaber battle with him as Anakin and me as Obi-Wan. Nothing like having your child scream "I hate you!" while pretending to be in flames in a pit of molten lava. He turned out ok lol.

We laugh every time they have an Anakin voice over from the movies. That writing was . . . something else. Thank goodness this is 10x better. I just wish the series were longer!

I hope so. I feel like I read somewhere that they were going to have Force Ghosts in the series and I can't think of anyone else that would be the ghost, especially since Obi-Wan keeps reaching out to his master. Can't wait for some Liam Neesons!!!
