I interviewed a babysitter, and she checked her phone multiple times during the interview.

Yes, older women never check their phones during the day.

Again, I am an older nanny and I never check my phone during the day, I wear an Apple Watch for emergencies. I know many other older women like myself.

We didn’t grow up with phones in our hands and it’s just not a necessity in our lives.

Ignore posters like that, OP. You can absolutely find a good sitter who isn’t on her phone and you can also make it a condition of her employment. You can also use a good daycare.
