Can you refuse a breathalyzer?
I don’t trust them. I’d rather have a blood draw. |
You CAN refuse all testing, but check the laws in your jurisdiction about the consequences for doing so. I suppose the police could get a court order for blood testing, but since alcohol leaves your system over time it doesn't seem like it would be worth it. |
I was speeding on 81 by Lexington, VA. anything over 80 is an RD. So my 86 in a 75 was RD. |
The law hasn't caught up with the increase in speed limits. When the fastest you could go was 55, reckless over 80 made sense. |
Doesn’t sound like PP is trying to refuse all testing, just a breathalyzer. They are specifically asking for a blood draw over a breathalyzer. Why would they would need a court order based on a request from the suspect? |
Better yet, someone who’s killed people like that while driving drunk should probably just be hanged by the neck until they are dead. Much cheaper and more effective deterrent than life in prison. Why should they get to live for another 40-60 years after killing a family? Rope is cheap and reusable. |
