Do not get married at 24 because someone else did almost 22 years ago.

This isn’t an only anecdote, lots of early (not teen) marriages do really well, age (early or late) increases odds of failure but doesn’t cause divorce. It’s couple and circumstance dependent.

Just like marrying later doesn’t guarantee a happy marriage, marrying early doesn’t guarantee an unhappy one.

Not quite the same analogy. Nice try.

So then promise getting married at 16.

No judgement in the OP.

I would say this is accurate. But I'd also say if you are getting married before 27/28, you better be doing it because you have a good head on your shoulders and know this person is compatible.

I met my DH when I was 25 and we got married when I was 29. We probably could have gotten married a year or 2 earlier, but I'm glad we waited a bit. We just had fun. Which now I'm so glad we did because we have little kids and spend most nights on our couch not really having fun

You don’t have to have kids right away, wait as much as you need.

If you get married at 30, you don’t have much time to waste if you want kids.

I'm certainly not getting married in 2022, I'm already married.

Probably scared to leave each other, they are naive and may be the only partner.

Well, 16 is minor and illegal as well and everyone is against it. However, 21+ can easily work for right couple in right circumstances.

In love, best friends and a power couple.

There are no absolutes, if age was the major factor, no one marrying after 30 would be divorcing.

Well, 24 isn’t too early for someone dating for 4 years and engaged for 2.
