| My father was a secondary principal and we lived in the same district. It wasn’t here and a small town. I think it was only awkward for my youngest sister, who was a student at the school when he was a principal and she was a trouble maker. My mother handled meetings with the teachers, not him. It really wasn’t an issue for any of us, our friends or him. He lived there after we all grew up and many years after we retired. I’m not sure if any of the neighbors cared but it never seemed to stop our friends from hanging out at our house. |
I posted that my father was a principal. We lived in the house first and he was an assistant principal in a different district before applying and becoming the principal near our house. You are saying we should have moved? That’s crazy. It was fine. |
I'll be kind. You're an insecure nut job. |
| You people are weird. I would love if the principal lived next door. He’s great! |
| Another vote for normally I would be fine with it BUT one of our children has an IEP and is bullied. Our relationship with the middle school principal is not one that would be good to have with a neighbor. |

I know someone who was an ES principal for years at the school he lived directly next to. |
| Growing up, our superintendent lived next door. I sometimes found out about snow days while we were both outside shoveling the driveway. The joke was that if the snow was too deep for his dog to do its business, school would get canceled. |
