Like what? They are sick, stay away. Not every situation needs support.

This is true. We are used to this by now.

I’m home with Covid right now. I feel sick but not dying. My child has had a lot of screen time, which I’m not proud of. Just trying to survive right now.

Most of us are back to the pre-Covid sick time rules...We get 5 days for the whole year. So it's either suffer through or dig into your vacation time. Especially with all the flexible workspace policies now - "just make up the hours after you're better!" is what we hear.

I am home alone with COVID right now and my bestie is on FaceTime with my 7 year old who has SN. He is showing her his toys while I get a break from him wanting to me glued to my side every minute. If you can do anything like this for your friend there will be a place in heaven for you.

I mean, I do stuff for my friends that are sick for other things like flu too.

The only difference is that for some kinds of illnesses or ailments, you would just go into their home and help them out if needed. Most people don't want to hang out with someone with COVID. But, yeah, basically OP is just asking for some new ideas on how to help out a friend.

I'm not sure why people on here, and IRL, can't just offer the advice that is being asked for. I will never understand this. This could have just been a cute, positive thread about ways to support other moms or how to keep toddlers busy but nooooo....
