Wonderful family you are.

yeah, they're such horrible people for following *checks notes* CDC guidelines!! just terrible! (assuming they are all vaccinated.)

Pretty much you are. Courtesy to not potentially and probably expose others.
You inadvertently admitted that you should’ve done so. “Assuming they are all vaccinated”. You know they all aren’t.

Op here. My kids were on screens, fighting, crying but they made it alive until Dh came home.

This would be really nice to have. Solo parenting well children while not feeling well has to be part of the worst parts of parenting.
Anonymous
It depends on the ages of the children and how sick the mom is. Considering mom is on here complaining, it doesn’t sound like she is that sick.
Anonymous
Unless I was truly too sick to take care of my kids, of course my DH would go to work.

Then that's their fault. Not my problem.

I would be mad a potentially covid + coworker is in the office. Irresponsible.

CDC guidelines say you don't need to isolate anymore if you are vaccinated. You are supposed to wear a well-fitting mask for 10 days instead, and test on day 5.

My office's policies follow the CDC. You're allowed to telework in lieu of wearing a mask at the office, but you don't have to.

I would be pissed too, that’s ridiculous. Her husband is not special enough that he needed to be at work.

You’re right. You know nothing in that dense brain of yours.
