Chasing reputation is a fool’s errand. The decision is about where to get the kind of education that the student can best take advantage of.
That’s really dumb. Reputation matters a lot when it’s time to find an internship, job, or whatnot.
Not really, though I suppose that depends somewhat on your major. I had zero problem with internships, jobs, etc. from my no-name midwest school. It's all about thriving where you are planted, which I did.
