What is Putin's off ramp?

I hate to say it but it’s almost like it needs to take one for the team.

Ukraine surrendering at the urging of the West would be even more disastrous. There would be no more team.

Shiougu is definitely going to be made the scapegoat.

With the way Biden has been managing their slow defeat, do they have any choice?

Why is he still holding up the MiG-29’s donated by Poland ? They could be using those to bomb Russians right NOW if Biden hadn’t personally stopped it.

Do you not follow the news? The reasons for it have been well-explained.

If they win, like, clearly win… who knows what the madman will do?
I think Ukraine will be the sacrificial lamb, but the show will be put up as if they were helped… also it’s a way to decimate Russian forces. And then Putin gets his off-ramp… his very costly win.

Yes it will be very bad. But they might choose the known evil over an unknown one

Such weird speculation on this thread. Ukraine isn’t surrendering to Russia.

It’s easy to spot them. They’re the ones supporting Biden not allowing Ukraine to receive the donated Polish jets.

At this point one should seriously be questioning whether Biden is working for Putin, with the way he seems to be working to engineer Ukraine’s gradual defeat by denying them the jets they can use to fight Russia. Biden’s entire plan seems to be to give the Ukrainians just enough crumbs to allow them to fight a drawn out war ending in their eventual surrender, rather than giving them enough to help them actually win.

+1. Putin gets a pledge that Ukraine won’t join NATO. That’s it. If he’s lucky he might be able to keep Crimea and get a promise to make Russian language a second official language of Ukraine. He can spin that as having won or protected his Russians. He’s not really going to be in a position to ask for more. The Chinese are not going to back him nor give him weapons. They have zero interest in being tied to him economically, being sanctioned or being seen as supporting someone making nuclear threats. He’s got loses he can’t hide for much longer. Sanctions are already creating economic problems. I doubt he fall in a coup, but he’s going to realize that he will have to fakenews his way out of this the same way he fakenews-ed his way in.

If that’s all Putin gets he’ll come off looking like an even bigger fool than when he started.
