Getting to Cornell

We are also planning a college tour from the South to Cornell. Honestly, given that there are so many good choices out there, someone from the South must have a really good reason to justify sending their undergrad so far away. Like something that they can only accomplish in Cornell. Nothing against Cornell---if we had lived in the NE, I would felt differently.

Something to be said for being part of an environment where not everyone is similar to you or has a similar background. My southern friends loved Cornell academically and socially. I hope you have a good visit, and good luck in your kid's search.

Guided tours resume in March
