How early for school pickup line?

Never mind, I see that they usually go to SACC, but not today

Why not just send them to SACC since it’s paid for and pick them up 15 minutes after car line clears?

It depends. In FCPS if you live within about a mile of school you are a walker and can either walk home or your parents can pick you up in the kids n ride. If you are a bus rider lots of parents do kiss and ride anyway since the buses can often take a very long time to get the kids home, hours sometimes due to bus driver shortages.

My kids usually walk to school but on super cold days or rainy days I just drive and park near the school and walk to get them then we walk the 1 block back to the school. It is easier than working your way through the super long kiss and ride.

Reminds me of being a kid. Usually there was a 1.5-2 hour bus ride on either end. In college, people asked me what extracurriculars I did in high school, and the answer was bus riding.
