Yes, and the comment above about sweet Pam. I always think of her sweetness and how she’s a great mom rather than her bewbs. And how she had a custom Starbucks built at her house. I’m a woman though and I listened to Howard stern interviews. She’s very likable.

I've listened to the HS interviews too. She seems like a genuinely sweet person and a loving mom. She was having fun in her youth and there's nothing wrong with that. The video should never gotten out---I do feel for her that this overshadowed anything else she did in her career. Wonder what it would have been like for her had this not happened. I can't forgive her for marrying Kid Rock though. gross.

Lily James does a great job acting, but her looks are too different from Pamela. All of the dentures, latex, spray tan, and hair extensions can’t cover that she just doesn’t resemble her at all. Pam had a softer look and Lily just looks so hard pretending to be her. Lily James is gorgeous but her bone structure is very different from Pam.

I thought I read that the contractor really did steal it and then just sort of dropped off the grid after the video went viral. I don't think they were in on it although I do find it strange from watching the first 3 episodes that not once has Tommy checked his safe for his guns or whatever else he keeps in there. Really--several weeks have gone by and he hasn't noticed yet?

Pam was/is many things, but a "softer look" just isn't one of them. I would never in a million years have thought of Lily James to play her, but after seeing the transformation, she actually nailed Pam's look.

Same. I'm impressed by the transformation. The casting for Tommy Lee...not so much.

Oh, FFS. Where did you find the first photo? It looks like a random photo taken on set by a passerby. James doesn't look like that in the movie when the lighting, angles, facial expressions, and make-up are all at play.

DP. That's not a good comparison picture, obviously. The other pictures I've seen look dead-on.

I am dating myself here, but I remember her getting a "makeunder' in Jane magazine and giving an interview and she seemed really down to earth. I wouldn't say relatable, but sort of "in on the joke" of herself as a celebrity and performer. As a PP said, I think she always seemed very invested in being a mom and like a kind person.

I am just watching the latest episode and I know she was against this series, but I do hope she is watching now and not unhappy with it. I think (so far) she comes off smelling like a rose and there is a humanizing redemption arc there for her, so hopefully she is happy with the way she is portrayed.

Kid Rock thing though...man. Ugh.
