French is great for the sciences. And diplomacy.
Spanish is also great for diplomacy and good for public policy/ public facing professions/ medicine

The are so close that learning one will open an easy path to the other if you ever have need. Go with the language at your school with a teacher with a great reputation.

Perhaps. ("Chinese" is vague, and Arabic won't actually get you that far.) The question was between French and Spanish, though. Reading comprehension for the win!
