Where do you get your cute boy clothes?!

France. Perhaps you can get them here as well - Jacadi, Petit Bateau, that kind of thing.

- Janie and Jack
- Magnetic Me (jammies)
- Kissy Kissy
- Gap
- Old Navy
- Cecil and Lou
- Posh Peanut
- EGG New York

Everyday preschool stuff I get from old navy, gap, cat and Jack at target. Nicer stuff from Janie and Jack, Ralph Lauren, crew cuts/jcrew factory and splendid for nicer, very comfortable play clothes

This is why I stated buying Hanna Anderson and mini Boden on sale or second hand (buy sell trade groups). I hate boy clothes. They have amazing stuff! Primary is ok. I also hate blue grey and black for boys, and camo.

Hear me out: there’s a British store named Next that has great boy clothes. They mail to the US.

Agreed. NEXT and Marks & Spencer, H&M, Mayoral, Boden, really all the European brands have cuter boy clothes. In the US, Tea Collection, Ralph Lauren and Cat & Jack are our favorites. Tea Collection does have some printed stuff, but it’s sort of cool (rocket ships and fighter jets, rather than all baseball and football).

I spent an hour on target, old navy and baby gap and found maybe 3-4 pieces that didn’t have ugly characters on them or sayings.

What? Old navy has a ton.

+1 — Old Navy has a ton of solids and cute prints for babies that aren’t characters or sayings.

Op here: I honestly didn’t see many outfits (not pajamas) that were cute from old navy.

I ended up buying some from kate quinn and spearmint baby. Pricey for sure but worth it to me.

Yes I agree, lots of plain stuff and plain striped tees, solid pants, etc at department stores like kohl’s.

Anonymous wrote:Just a small note of caution, OP. I loooooove the idea and the quality of Primary, but I ended up with an extremely large baby who has grown into a wide set toddler. Primary clothes are more slim cut and I had to stop buying it because they look absurd on DS. Just to say— buy some things if you want to, but avoid trying to get a whole wardrobe. You just never know the body size and shape of your future kid. (I am very petite, so three years later, my kid’s size still shocks me!)

Our first is a string bean (tall and very thin) who is rough on clothes. Dressing him is a huge challenge. I almost don't care whether they clothes are cute. Finding stuff that fits and lasts longer than a week is a nightmare.
