This is clearly a joke, op

Why would I be joking? My 15-year-old DD adores the selection at Talbots. She's very modest which is probably partly why she likes the styles.

Don’t be obtuse. You know no teen girls or VERY few shop there. My daughter’s clothes are from Nordstrom, but I don’t mention it because it’s not a usual teen store… but congrats on your modest teen!

I'm too young for Talbot's and I'm 42 LMAO.

Pac Sun, Tilly's, Zumiez, Urban Outfitters, Aerie, Garage.

You could also get an array of little gift cards for a local bubble tea place, starbucks, Jamba juice

Agreed! My 13 yo is getting Starbucks, bath and body, Barnes and noble, American eagle, target.

Agree. Only the entitled girls ask for Starbucks gift cards. Even 25yr old adults shouldn't be spending $5-8 on a syrupy sugared coffee drink

Trust me, my kid is not entitled.
There’s one walking distance from our house so she and her friends will walk there on occasion. If she wants to spend $5-8 of her hard earned money on it IDGAF. I would hardly call her or any of her friends entitled though.

We live in a very middle class (for DCUM) area and all the teens drink Starbucks and love Starbucks gift cards.

My 13 year old is all about the Starbucks run with her friends. That or 7-11.

Aerie
Francesca’s
Athleta
Adidas
Local nail place
Kung Fu Tea or similar

My 13 yo DD also loves all the surf brands so if there’s a local surf shop that’s a hit. We just did a Starbucks for a sports team grab bag (13-15 year olds) and it was a huge hit. My daughter walks to SB w friends after school. Any kid who is getting a gift card is privileged. Starbucks isn’t offensive. It’s not Chanel FFS.

Now I am dying to know....are you the same troll that says we all hate our kids for wanting them in school? I just wonder how many people are out there trolling a parenting message board for kicks?!
