Did serious issues with your child cause you to stop at one child?

I think our friends who had a difficult child often have a larger age gap between the first and second.

This can be colic, sleep or eating problems for healthy children to special needs.

I have a good friend whose daughter is just difficult. She said she cried nonstop the day she brought her home from the hospital and still gives her grief at almost 10. She wanted to stop at 1 but had a second after 5 years. Both girls are healthy. The older one just has a very difficult personality.

Op I just want to mention my friends son had a heart vessel wrapped around his esophagus and the cardiac doctors did not believe it until they operated in case you have not considered that option.

I have a highly emotional difficult child that is a handful. I posted before about how he cried non-stop and years later he is still my most difficult. I definitely didn’t plan the next child, but the next child who was my last ended up being the complete opposite and is absolutely my easiest child.

It is very unlikely your next child will have the same medical issue.
