Youngkin is pulling Virginia out of multi-state carbon reduction initiative.

In a statement, however, House Speaker-designee Todd Gilbert, R-Shenandoah, applauded Youngkin’s move, saying that “public policy must achieve results. If it doesn’t, then it’s not good policy.”

“Virginia’s participation in RGGI was premised on the fact that it showed ‘leadership’ in combating climate change. The cost of RGGI to Virginia families and businesses is very real, while the impact of RGGI on climate change is negligible at best — a fact that was documented well before outgoing Governor Northam opted the commonwealth into the pact,” said Gilbert. “In fact, Virginia was reducing carbon emissions from power plants at a rate comparable to RGGI states before joining the cap and trade group.”

Of course a right wing analysis is going to say the environmental benefits are negligible.

"Right wing analysis"? Then I guess all of the negative comments in the article were left wing. Correct?

Democrats did not close schools for a year. School boards did, all over the country, and not just in blue areas. People need to stop blaming school boards, which are LOCAL! The truth is, people wanted to vote for a regressive, venture capitalist nitwit who spoke to their fears about everything and used schools as an excuse.

Exactly. And this far-right conservative governor cannot and will not do anything about LOCAL school boards.

Voters are dumb AF.

Youngkin just used the 'school boards' and schools just to get the suburban women out with their pitchforks to the polls. Now that they voted him in, the school issues are off the radar.

The SBs in NoVA are Democrat. They didn't care and dismissed the parents concerns.

But you never even bothered to figure out the truth. Take Loudoun for example. The right made up crap right and left regarding the bathroom sexual assault and your gang blamed the school board and super for all of it. If you actually spend time reading what happened, your take was absolute bs.

DP. I'm going to call you on this. What - specifically - was "absolute bs"? Was a male student guilty of assaulting a girl in the girls' bathroom? Yes or no? And was this boy then shuttled to another LCPS high school to assault YET ANOTHER girl? Yes or no? We'll wait.

What date was his sentencing?

Jeff. had an entire thread with timeline on this. I am not saying that the assaults should not be investigated and that it was not a terrible thing. But voters seem to have confused local school board‘s actions with what governor does. And now businesses, the environment are going to suffer so y’all can save $4 month. Classic cutting off your nose to spite your face.

That information is in the article that was linked. It wouldn't matter to post the information. The goal posts would be moved again.

Post the timeline and tell us if he was “guilty” as PP falsely claimed.

You won’t because it shows that PP is full of sh1t.

A judge found the juvenile guilty. That's how it works in juvenile court. There isn't a jury of peers.

You can read this: https://wtop.com/loudoun-county/2021/11/loudoun-county-teen-found-responsible-in-2nd-sexual-assault/

The kid pleaded no contest and the judge found him guilty. The sentence, or disposition, is scheduled for December 13.

When did the judge find him guilty. And when were the assaults? What happened in what order? This isn’t a tough question.

PP is full of it.

DP. If anyone is full of it, it's you. You can stop being coy by posting your leading questions and just state whatever it is you're dying to say. No one's interested in playing your stupid games.
