Crate of Oranges for Christmas Gift - who to buy from?

Anonymous
Sometime local Lions and Optimist clubs will have citrus sales at this time of the year. Look on listservs or Facebook pages to see if any are in your area.

If someone got me a crate of blood oranges they'd be my forever bestie.

+1. My sister used to own it. She still sends us grapefruit every year.

Your sister owned Pittman Davis? How did she get into it and why did she sell? What's she doing now?

It’s unbelievable that people take time to write stuff like this. What a sad life.

Well no one really wants a crate of oranges, so.

I do! I love those things—especially around the holidays. I love the pears too.

We’ve gotten the crates of oranges as gifts. Sometimes they are great, sometimes they are crappy. Just like when you grocery shop. So I guess I don’t really get the point. I can get oranges and pears at my local market

Most of the stuff you are buying in the store doesn’t grow around here now. The grocery store oranges likely come from Florida too

FFS - I am a Democrat + order fruit for Dem + Rep family/friends. Get a life + stop politicizing everything. Enjoy the holidays + spread some cheer.

Order what you want. It’s a free country. And I’m not supporting POS Rs.

The ones we have received as gifts from Florida were much much more fresh and tasted much better. They come directly not through a middle man so they get to you sooner and don't have time to dry out like the ones in the store. Sorry you have had a good one

Try the Honeybells and Blood Orange they are amazing

You're crazy. Their fruit is wonderful. We just received a box of pears and they are beautiful. I would love to receive a bunch of oranges (like another PP, I love blood oranges, hint hint) from them!
