Not sure why income would have anything to do it. I've known guys of all income levels and boxers/briefs/commando just seems to be an individual choice.

That said, there's definitely a generational element to it. Boxers became popular among teens in the late '80s and '90s, so those who were that age at that time are more likely to wear them.

Totally generational. Older men much more likely to wear briefs. They are ultra unsexy. But I care about what’s inside. Trust me it is not income dependent. Boxers only became a thing for younger men in the 1980s before that they were for grandpas and it wasn’t until they had a fashion moment as outer wear for teenaged girls over leggings/as shorts, that they became mainstream for younger men.

My husband is a grown adult and knows how to wipe. He is also well endowed. Going commando has never been and issue.

Let's be clear what we mean by boxers. If you're talking about the loose boxers of the 80s and 90s (people who grew up then are NOW the old men btw), then it is actually older men who wear boxers. If you are talking about TIGHT boxers, or boxer briefs, that is more likely to be young men < 40. But yes, true classic briefs or tighty whities, are mostly > 60 men. Wearing loose boxers dates you as an old dude who probably still listens to garbage 90s grunge music

I don’t get it. Sexy men that are handsome and in good physical shape look good in white briefs, boxer briefs or boxers.

Men that have a beer gut, and out of shape, and or old don’t look sexy in any type of underwear.
