Just because some posters lived in squalor when they were in college doesn't mean that it's normal or healthy to do so.

We're not asking for luxury accommodations - spartan is fine, as long as it's clean.

This happens because students keep food in their rooms and leave a lot of it open or the crumbs on the floor. Yes, that attracts roaches and mice.

We had mice and roaches at UPenn. That was 1996-2000. I hope it has improved.

It's 18-21 year olds away from their parents for the first time, what do you expect?
