1st grader bored - what can I ask the teacher?

Yes, the reward for getting your work done early is always more work. The smart kids figure this out quickly.

Not at our school. It’s usually reading, drawing or free writing, depending on the age/ability of the class. There will always be kids who finish first. And kids who literally never finish and always have work in their “unfinished folder.”
