Last week I had to take a medication and couldn’t breastfeed for 3 days so we had him on formula. He slept through the night those 3 nights. We went to breastfeeding and he woke up like normal again. This week I pumped and fed formula to see if it was just a fluke and no. He slept though the night when I formula fed for 2 nights. I know it’s selfish but I’m think of switching to formula so my baby sleep better at night na is get more sleep. Has anyone ever quit breastfeeding for sleep reasons?
Naaa. It’s not selfish. You need to sleep to be a good mom. If for whatever reason breastfeeding is contributing to you being tired and quitting makes you feel better then why not. You need to be awake to parent.
