the early years are superb, only one dud teacher encountered there, my kids are happy
The parent body is energized and enthusiastic
We don't speak spanish in my home, but when we travel, the kids can function very well, getting directions, and even bartering...lol
the middle school transition is a little rocky, as the facilities for sports etc simply are not present
Fillmore arts runs the art/drama/dance/music portion of the middle school, and they are very good at engaging the kids...my daughter memorized several pages of shakespeare on a 'dare' from the drama teacher
I'm very pleased overall, though I'm watching how middle school shapes up.
I'm not that thrilled with everyday math, but I think that is the DC gov't curriculum
