We have 2 girls (7 and 11). The bedrooms in the house we will be buying have very Eastery pastel (bright) painted wall. The girls seem to be ok with them. If the sellers are willing to have those rooms repainted, then I was thinking of doing them in some color(s) that my girls would like but would also not be so "love it or hate it" polarizing for a future tenant or buyer.
So, what color would you recommend? I was hoping for something that is softer to appeals to my girls, yet neutral enough for anybody else that could live there. Please not white!! |
| Pale blue or yellow. |

| Sellers normally don't do the repainting, buyers do. And unless you only plan to live in it for a couple of years you'll probably repaint before you resell. So id go with what your girls like now. What colors do your girls like? What colors are their bedding? Yellow is good on walls unless they have lots of pink and purple. White or wood furniture? My DD chose a soft light green for her room which goes well with her pink stuff. |
