| Are these also swim trunks, or not necessarily? Ive seen some lined with mesh and some not. Do boys wear the ones not lined as swim trunks? AE is having a good sale and I'm looking at their board shorts for my 13 year old but I cant figure out if they are supposed to be swim trunks. Also, the description does not mention whether they are lined or not. Anyone know? |

| They are swim trunks, surfer (board) style. Some have mesh and some don't but all are worn as bathing suits. Some boys like mesh, some don't. Some boys think its stylish to wear boxers underneath but my son think it looks dumb and uncomfortable. |
