Does anyone on this forum work at PPFA/DC? I'm considering a position there that looks interesting on paper, but I'm mindful that job satisfaction is closely tied to workplace culture and the quality of management and leadership. I checked Glassdoor but didn't see any reviews for the DC office. Any insights would be appreciated.
I interviewed there a year ago, and took myself out of the running for the job. It is an extremely high stress, fast paced environment. They basically said everyone works long days and there is little flexibility. Now, I was interviewing for a job on the political side in an election year -- so maybe it's not like that all the time. I think you should apply and feel it out. They do great work.
OP here--thanks for the info.
Are you an attorney? I know someone who was an attorney there. I think it was fantastic litigation experience, but ultimately she left because the pay was not enough to support her family for an extended period of time (she was the breadwinner).
OP here--I'm not an attorney, this would be a general management/business operations job.
