Any birth control pills clear up your adult acne?

The last couple of years I have been getting painful, cyst zits on my cheeks and jawline.
Before I head back to the dermatologist I was wondering if anyone had this problem cleared up by a certain brand of birth control. I am due to have my 5 year Mirena removed so thought I'd ask. TIA! |

| Mine did. I used Loestrin FE 30, I believe. |

| I take a generic version of Yaz called Loryna which has helped with my acne. I had to take it for 4-5 months before I noticed a difference. The time between outbreaks is longer and they aren't as severe. |

| Yaz and Loestrin 24 worked for me. Yaz was better but I had to switch for other reasons. Good luck!! |

| I used Microgestin (generic for Loestrin, I think.) My acne wasn't terrible, but that pill definitely helped. |

| I took Loestrin and it made my acne much worse. My forehead which was normally clear broke out on tons of tiny bumps. Horrible stuff. Try visiting acne.org or drugs.com to read reviews of different BCPs. |
