| I'm just having a bowl of Trader Joe's French Onion Soup and wondering who in DC/NOVA makes the best FOS? This is good (and doesn't taste more of salt than anything else), but of course, it isn't fresh made. I realize it's pretty simple to make, if tedious, but no one else in my family will eat it. There was one other rec on this board for Bistro Francaise. |
| In the old days it was Pied de Cochon in Georgetown. Sorry, I know it is closed and therefore my posting is useless to you. It just made me reminisce for a moment. The soup was probably not even as good as I remember it, but the atmosphere was great! |
