| that is given out at Peruvian chicken restaurants? Anyone know the name? Could I make it at home or where could I buy it? |
| It's a tomato-mayo sauce. We make shift with ketchup, mayo, but the purvian sauce is thinner. I'll look for a recipe online. |

Nando's?
I made a very close approximation of it last week when I was craving it. I just mixed equal parts sriracha and mayo. You should probably add lime juice and cilantro, too. Got fluffy pita, a whole foods rotisserie chicken, and slathered the bread with it and topped with veggies. It was very close to the real Nando's sandwich. |

10:10 again-
It’s called Salsa Golf Sauce- http://mylifeinperu.com/2010/08/02/salsa-golf-the-perfect-condiment/ http://www.fromargentinawithlove.typepad.com/from_argentina_with_love/2009/09/salsa-golf.html Here is a Salsa Amarillo sauce that also looks tasty: http://lavidacomida.com/recipes/salsa-amarillo/ |
This is why I love DCUM.....OP here. Thank you guys! My family will be happily surprised with dinner tonight

Sounds like a great idea for dinner tonight. Thanks! |
Happy to help! It's insanely good and easy. I also make their butternut squash salad. Just toss cubed (I used frozen) butternut squash with corn (also frozen), dried cranberries, diced red onion, cilantro, a little olive oil, a little maple syrup and some sriracha or red chilies for spice. Wonderful! |
| Awesome to have this recipe--Sriracha+mayo+lime+cilantro=delicioso! |
Where do you find a fluffy pita? Everything at every grocery store I see is the very flat/thin kind that tastes awful and dry. |
I don't know Nando's. What type of veggies do you use? |
