I have 25 2 year olds and about 20 adults.
Would 6 pizzas be enough? I was going to get 2 pizzas cut into 16's and then have 4 pizzas for the parents. |
| I do at least 8--3 cut small and 5 cut in regular slices. I'd much, much, much rather have leftover pizza, even lots of leftovers, than have guests in my home feel underfed. |
Ever year, I over order and have 2-3 pies leftover. |
Me too. |
| At least 8 |
| Best guesstimate math. Count on two slices per adult, especially if dads are coming, and one full slice per kid, but double cut their pizzas. Round up, so that's nine. If you're me throw in one more. |
| I'd personally do 10. |
| Better have more than not enough. I would go with 10 also. Jsut freeze it is you need to. |
| Lunch or dinner? Figure 2 pieces per adult and 1 piece (2 half pieces) per child. The pizza place can tell you how many slices are on each pie you order. |
| Why not go with Costco and order about 6 or 7...There pizzas are huge with huge slices for only $10 |
| And also u don't need a membership |
| 10 should be plenty, and you'd probably be okay with 8 or 9. We recently had a party with 25 kids and 25 adults. I ordered 14 pizzas, figuring that the adults would each eat at least 2 full-size pieces and the kids would eat at least 1 full-size piece. We had 5 full pizzas left over, so I clearly overestimated. |

| I actually did just have a party the same size as yours and found 6 pies to be just right. |
But how many did you order? If you got six, and one or two slices was left, that is just because people won't take the last couple. Upthread someone ordered 14 and 9 were eaten. I guess it also depends on whether it is dinner time or lunch time, but I definitely don't think 6 is enough. |
