I've stepped up my work out schedule so have my athletic clothes in heavy rotation. What detergent do you find takes out the sweaty stink best from your wicking fabric? I've been using Tide Sport but the fragrance is super heavy. Am a Method and Seventh Generation detergent fan for regular clothes, but they just don't do the job on my athletic gear.
Thanks for your recommendations! |
You're not supposed to, but I find putting them in the dryer once in a while is the secret to getting out the funk.
I have been looking for the detergent that makes clothes smell like my 21 year old boyfriend from college. His smell was like rainy earth and a bowl of steaming milk mixed together with smashed kiwi fruit. Oh, sorry, I'll just let myself out.

gain, it has the power of tide (same company) but a special non over powering fragrance that deodorizes and removes smells. Read reviews

OP here: thanks, all! I forgot, I also tried WIN which I read about in a health magazine, but it wasn't very good.
I find if I spray Nature's Miracle (the cat pee stain removal stuff) on it once in a while before washing, that helps.
23:34 Would you please contact your ex and find out what detergent he used? I like the description of that scent ;>
Try adding Borax powder to your wash. Use it with your regular laundry soap.
OP here. Do you pre soak in Borax, then launder? Thanks!
