Pesto sauce

Speaking of pesto sauce, has anyone found a pre-made pesto that tastes anything like the homemade sauce?

There's a pesto in a squeezable pouch in the refrigerated cheese/pasta section at whole foods that I thought was pretty good. I usually make my own pesto but I didn't have time and needed something quick. I was pleasantly surprised. Forget the name though!

Is this the third post you've started about this one dish you are going to make?

No, but I do freeze mine from the summer. Freezes very well if you do it right.

Trader Joes sells frozen basil and garlic cubes. I use about 10 cubes of the basil and 1 of the garlic (microwave 20 seconds), and mix it with the pasta, olive oil, and parm cheese and voila! Very fresh tasting and easy.

I actually enjoy the pesto from Costco when we've run out of the homemade stuff.
