Is the search function a little squirrely?

For ex, I got no results when searching on "observatory circle"--a term that I am sure has been used recently, notably in connection with Sarah Palin.

No, the search system is not a little squirrely. Its a lot squirrely. The main drawback I've found is that it only finds exactly matches. If someone misspelled "observatory", you will not be able to find it by searching for "observ", for example. I've been trying to figure out where the problems are exactly and get them fixed. But, I haven't been all that successful.
