I've been a legal secretary for a LONG time, but I think I may be being underpaid quite a lot. I was thinking of starting to shop around for a new job, but I have no idea what the average pay is in the area... |

| I recruit for some legal secretary positions and see a wide range. A lot depends on the location, type and size of the firm where you are working. I see everything from the mid $30k range (in house or very small firm) to the $70k range (sr. at amlaw 100 firms). |
